Signing up for a course
Most lists will be available in the refreshments area at the quarterly meetings. Write your name on the list available, otherwise please e-mail or phone the presenter or co-ordinator to attend any of them. Any further details regarding dates, days and times can also be obtained from the presenter or co-ordinator.
When you sign up for a course, please write your details clearly for the course presenter or co-ordinator and write the dates of the course down in your diary immediately! Course leaders are not responsible to remind members of dates of their presentations.
Cancellations
Please remember that once you have registered to attend any course you are obliged to attend all sessions, unless it is absolutely impossible to do so. In this case please make your apologies to the course leader as soon as possible. Many courses have long waiting lists so your failure to cancel in good time means another member is deprived of the opportunity to join that group.
Fees
2026 course and interest group fees will depend on the costs incurred by the hosts which may include the hire of a venue as well as materials and tea. When you register for a course you will be informed of the session fee.
Only registered U3A members may participate in courses, other than in exceptional circumstances and where space permits a guest fee of R50 per session will be charged.
Please pay all course fees at the first session.
